Walnut Shell Sand Application
Walnut Shell Sand is used for stripping paint & coatings from cars, boats, buildings, furniture, fiberglass, steel and wood. The method can be employed as air blast or wheel blast equipment to propel walnut shell media.
Walnut Shell Sand provides the aggressiveness to remove tough paints & coatings without damaging softer substrates since Walnut Shell Polishing Tumbling Media is a soft abrasive material. Also, Abrasive Walnut Shells makes “selective coating removal” possible. Hereby, the top coating can be stripped while leaving under-coatings original.
In addition, Walnut Shell Sand does not cause silicosis and therefore this method is an excellent alternative to sandblasting.
